Since 2000, Kelly has explored various styles of Yoga, with
strong influence from the Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Kripalu, and Kundalini systems.
In 2004, she completed the yoga teacher training program at Yoga Training
Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina and registered with Yoga Alliance.
Shortly thereafter, she began offering private and small group lessons at her
home studio in Iron Station, North Carolina.
In 2006, Kelly received
her prenatal certification through the Asheville Yoga Center and
is presently seeking her 500-hour certification and personal training
certification.
As a teacher, she is committed to providing her students with a
diverse learning experience by blending many styles of yoga with pranayama
(breath control), asana (pose), relaxation and meditation techniques in every
lesson.
In addition to offering yoga
at the studio, Kelly promotes awareness of yoga at
schools, offices, fundraisers, and other events.
