Genres

Gentle Yoga

With kinder and gentler movement, this class offers the physical and mental challenges of yoga. It is ideal for beginners, those recovering from illness or injury, or anyone who would like to slow it down a little. Gentle Yoga classes are 60 minutes. Classes are offered Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. and the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. Combination class are offered Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (Gentle Yoga/Yoga I.)

Yoga I
A blend of basic standing, reclining, twisting, and back-bending poses. Excellent for those in relatively good physical condition with prior yoga experience. Yoga I classes are 60 minutes. Classes are offered Mondays at 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m., and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. Combination classes are offered on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. (Gentle Yoga/Yoga I) and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. (Yoga I/II).

Yoga I/II
This is the most dynamic of all yoga classes offered. We explore a deeper and more challenging practice, including more advanced yoga postures.  Prior yoga experience is required and attendance to a Yoga I class is recommended.  Yoga I/II classes are 60 minutes.  Classes are offered Saturdays at 9:30 a.m.

Yoga/Pranayama

30 minutes of yoga postures and 30 minutes of a pranayama, meditation, and relaxation practice.  Whether permitting, classes are held outdoors; bring a towel or blanket along with your mat.  All levels welcome.  Classes are offered Thursday nights at 6:30 p.m.

Meditation
Discover and practice techniques to anchor your mind and observe your thoughts and thought processes without interruption.  Meditation classes are about 30 minutes.  Classes are offered Tuesdays at 10:35 a.m.

Tai Chi
Developed in ancient China, Tai Chi was developed as a martial art and means of self defense.  In our present day practice, we also appreciate the health benefits of balanced well-being. Tai Chi can be practiced by people of all ages and levels of fitness.  Tai Chi classes are 60 minutes and taught by Abe Rummage.  Please contact Kelly for more information.
