The Studio

Nestled back 300 feet from the road in a residential neighborhood, and among 360 degrees of hardwoods, rests the studio.  The warm colors, happy plants, and saltwater aquarium in our yoga space, create a calming, but rejuvenating environment for yoga practice.

 

The studio is located at 4933 Arden Gate Drive in Iron Station, North Carolina, about 10 minutes from the following intersections: Highway 16 at 73; Forney Hill/Campground Road at Highway 16 (Stacy's Restaurant); Highway 16 at 150; Old Plank Road at Highway 16; Highway 27 at Orchard Road or Long Circle.

 

To enter studio, walk around the left side to rear entrance (lower-level doors).

 

Please park in designated areas on the left or head-on in front of the house.

GETTING STARTED

· Please contact Kelly to make an appointment or reserve your space in a small group class.

· For private sessions, please complete the Private Instruction Questionnaire.

· For small group classes, please complete the Small Group Yoga Questionnaire and bring it with you to your first class.

· Try not to eat for at least 90 minutes prior to practice

· You will need a yoga mat.  Mats are available to rent for $1, and at times are available for purchase.

· Blocks.  When you know what to do with them, they are wonderful!  If you have them, bring them.  At times, blocks are also available for purchase

· Dress comfortably. Your body temperature will fluctuate in class.  Layers are recommended.

· Yoga is practiced in bare feet.  Bring socks if your feet tend to get cold.

 

STUDIO ETIQUETTE

· Please do not disrupt others by being late for class, as the first few minutes of class are spent centering and a late arrival can be disruptive to others; by leaving early; by bringing your cell phone into the studio space; by wearing perfume or strongly scented lotions to class; by walking on another's yoga mat.

· Please respect the studio space by not wearing your shoes in the studio space and cleaning your yoga mat periodically.

· Bottled water only, no other beverages in the studio space please.

· Please reserve your space in advance.
